According to the Transparency-index from 2018 Kristiansand is the most effective and correct in processing disclosure requirements, as well as availability of other information, when compared to the other large cities in Norway. Of the indexes maximum 30,5 points Kristiansand achieved 22,5 – an impressive score indeed.
In the municipality of Kristiansand public and political documents may be searched for as far back as 2005, which constitutes a defining contrast to many other municipalities where such documents often disappear from the internet after only 3-6 months.
