Together with our partners, the Nordic Smart City Network will launch the Nordic Smart City Roadmap as part of the Nordic Edge Expo 2021.
The Nordic Smart City Roadmap is a framework for smart city work in cities and municipalities both in the Nordics and internationally – describing the overriding vision, the principles we will adhere to and the barriers we will work together to overcome. The Roadmap aims to show how a more holistic and people-centered perspective on what constitutes a smart and sustainable society and contribute to concrete and positive impacts.
8.30-9:00: Svein Berg, Director of Nordic Innovation, will launch the Nordic Smart City Roadmap. Read more here
12:30-14:00: Following the official launch by Svein Berg, the Nordic Smart City Network will organize an open workshop. On the basis of the Nordic Smart City Roadmap we will discuss how social values, citizen involvement and trust can play a stronger role in tackling societal challenges and how these principles can be implemented in the Nordics and internationally.
