STEAM Oulu
STEAM = science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics.
A group of teachers and headmasters started a collaborative project in 2018 with the help of a fund provided by Finnish National Agency for Education. Six STEAM-schools from Oulu and FabLab Oulu share their knowledge and work together to make a STEAM-education path for grades 1-9. STEAM-education emphasizes teaching cross curricular subjects and 21st century skills. Students are encouraged to set goals on learning.
